The Knightdale Knights volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Wake Forest Cougars to 0 in the Knights league triumph on Thursday.
The Knights now possess a 5-13 record. They play next when they travel to Heritage for a Northern Six 6A/7A outing on Tuesday, September 30. Knightdale will play a Huskies team coming off a 3-0 league win over Vance County (Henderson, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 11-6.
With the loss, Wake Forest falls to 8-7 on the year. The Cougars travel to Franklinton (Franklinton, NC) to confront the Red Rams in a Northern Six 6A/7A game on Tuesday, September 30. The Red Rams enter the game with a record of 12-4. Franklinton won 3-0 in their recent league game against East Wake (Wendell, NC)
