Illinois High School Volleyball - Pekin Limestone

The Pekin Dragons volleyball squad (Pekin, IL), was defeated 2-0 in Thursday's league battle with the host Limestone Rockets (Bartonville, IL)

With the win, Limestone improves its record to 17-0 on the season. The Rockets travel to Canton (Canton, IL) to meet the Little Giants in a Mid-Illini challenge on Tuesday, September 30. The Little Giants enter the challenge with a record of 1-12. Canton lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Lewistown (Lewistown, IL)

Next, the Dragons meet the East Peoria Raiders (East Peoria, IL) in a Mid-Illini test, on Tuesday, September 30. Pekin will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Raiders go into the test with a 9-10 record after their 2-0 league loss to Metamora (Metamora, IL).
