In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Summertown Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Mt. Pleasant Tigers.

The Eagles (31-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Columbia Academy (Columbia, TN). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 5-10 record. In their last test, Columbia Academy was defeated by Franklin Christian Academy (Franklin, TN), 3-0, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 2-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hampshire for a A District 11 test on Tuesday, September 30.
