The North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland/Munich/Starkweather] Bearcats topped the host Nelson County co-op [Lakota/Dakota Prairie] volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Thursday's non-league game.

Next up, the Bearcats face the Velva Aggies (Velva, ND) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 27. North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland/Munich/Starkweather] will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Aggies go into the game with a 10-3 record after their 3-1 league win over Towner-Granville-Upham (Towner, ND).

The (1-8) will now prepare for their outing against Four Winds/Minnewaukan (Fort Totten, ND). The Indians come into the B - Region 4 outing with a 0-4 record.
