Connecticut High School Volleyball - Oxford over Torrington

Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Oxford Wolverines (Oxford, CT) and the host Torrington Raiders (Torrington, CT), observed Oxford's volleyball team top Torrington by a count of 3-1.

The Wolverines (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Ansonia (Ansonia, CT). The Chargers enter the Naugatuck Valley contest with a 0-3 record.

Next, the Raiders battle the Watertown Warriors (Watertown, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley contest, on Friday, September 26. Torrington will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Warriors go into the battle with a 1-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Holy Cross (Waterbury, CT).
