In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Paraclete Spirits volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the St. Monica Mariners.

The Spirits (13-7) will now prepare for their challenge against La Salle (Pasadena, CA). The Lancers come into the Camino Real game with a 10-6 record. In their last game, La Salle went down by Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA), 2-0, in a non-league game.

The Mariners (10-15) will now prepare for their game against Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (Montebello, CA). The Cardinals go into the Camino Real game with a 16-8 record. In their last game, Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary gained a win over Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA), 3-2, in a league game.
