In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Takini Skyhawks volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Tiospaye Topa Thunderhawks.

The Skyhawks (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cody-Kilgore (Cody, NE). The Cowboys/Cowgirls go into the non-league test with a 1-9 record. In their last test, Cody-Kilgore went down by Crawford (Crawford, NE), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Thunderhawks now sport a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crazy Horse for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 7. Tiospaye Topa will face a Chiefs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Flandreau Indian (Flandreau, SD). The Chiefs record now stands at 0-5.
