Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Wahkiakum Mules (Cathlamet, WA) and the host Washington School for the Deaf Terriers (Vancouver, WA), observed Wahkiakum's volleyball team top Washington School for the Deaf by a count of 3-0.

The Mules (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Pe Ell (Pe Ell, WA). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 4-3 record.

Next, the Terriers battle the Three Rivers Christian Eagles (Longview, WA) in a 1B Columbia Valley contest, on Tuesday, September 30. Washington School for the Deaf will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 0-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Columbia Adventist Academy (Battle Ground, WA).
