The Piedmont Highlanders volleyball team (Piedmont, CA), was dropped 2-0 in Monday's league challenge with the visiting Alameda Hornets (Alameda, CA)

The Hornets (18-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA). The Dragons enter the challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Bishop O'Dowd defeated Burlingame (Burlingame, CA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Highlanders meet the San Leandro Pirates (San Leandro, CA) in a challenge, on Wednesday, September 28. Piedmont will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record.
