Virginia High School Volleyball - Monticello can't hold off Turner Ashby

In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Turner Ashby Knights volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Monticello Mustangs.
The Knights (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Broadway (Broadway, VA). The Gobblers come into the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Broadway was edged by Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Mustangs clash with the Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 27. Monticello will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Fighting Hornets come into the battle with a 3-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Louisa County (Mineral, VA).
