In Monday's league battle, the visiting Robinson Bulldogs soccer squad scored a good 8-0 triumph over the Albemarle Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs (11-1) will now prepare for their outing against Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC). The Tigers go into the Yadkin Valley 1A/2A outing with a 5-8 record. In their last outing, Mount Pleasant was overwhelmed by Union Academy (Monroe, NC), 6-0, in a league outing.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Gray Stone Day Knights (Misenheimer, NC) in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A outing, on Wednesday, September 28. Albemarle will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Knights go into the outing with a 9-2 record after their 9-1 league win over North Stanly (New London, NC).
