Blue Ridge Early College Bobcats (Cashiers, NC) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Cherokee Braves (Cherokee, NC), 4-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Bobcats confront the Highlands Highlanders (Highlands, NC) in a Smoky Mountain 1A challenge, on Wednesday, September 28. Blue Ridge Early College will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Highlanders enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 1-0 league loss to Swain County (Bryson City, NC).

The Braves now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Erwin for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 29. Cherokee will confront a Warriors team coming off a 3-2 league win over McDowell (Marion, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 8-5.
