Next, the Cougars confront the East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) in a South Piedmont 3A challenge, on Wednesday, September 28. Carson will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 1-12 record after their 5-1 league loss to Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC).

The Trojans now possess a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Concord for a South Piedmont 3A challenge on Wednesday, September 28. Northwest Cabarrus will confront a Spiders team coming off a 8-2 league win over South Rowan (China Grove, NC). The Spiders record now stands at 9-1.
