Georgia High School Softball - Model bounces Darlington

The Model Blue Devils routed the visiting Darlington Tigers softball squad by a final score of 13-5 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Blue Devils (8-10) will now prepare for their battle against Rockmart (Rockmart, GA). The Yellowjackets go into the 2A Region 7 battle with a 17-3 record. In their last battle, Rockmart notched a victory over Gordon Central (Calhoun, GA), 15-0, in a league battle.

The Tigers now possess a 4-12 record. They play next when they host Armuchee for a 1A D-I Region 7 battle on Wednesday, September 28. Darlington will confront a Indians squad coming off a 10-1 league loss to Pepperell (Lindale, GA). The Indians record now stands at 7-14.
