Colorado High School Softball - Lutheran bounces Palmer Ridge

September 26, 2022: Monument, CO 80132

Spectators at Monday's league match between the Lutheran Lions (Parker, CO) and the host Palmer Ridge Bears (Monument, CO), witnessed Lutheran's softball squad prevail over Palmer Ridge by a count of 18-6.

The Lions now sport a 17-1 record. They play next when they travel to Discovery Canyon for a 4A Pikes Peak match on Wednesday, September 28. Lutheran will meet a Thunder squad coming off a 10-5 league win over Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO). The Thunder record now stands at 8-9.

With the loss, Palmer Ridge moves to 12-8 on the season. The Bears travel to Lewis-Palmer (Monument, CO) to confront the Rangers in a 4A Pikes Peak bout on Wednesday, September 28. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 13-7. Lewis-Palmer won 13-1 in their recent league bout against Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO)
