The Cherokee Chiefs held off the host Heritage Home Scholars Lady Eagles volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Monday's non-league test.

The Chiefs now have a 6-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Morristown-Hamblen West for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 27.

The Lady Eagles (18-6) will now prepare for their test against Varsity Opponent (, ). The enter the non-league test with a 44-246 record.
