In Monday's non-league contest, the College Prep & Leadership Academy Royals (Jamestown, NC) volleyball squad nudged the visiting Triad Math and Science Academy Tigers (Greensboro, NC), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Royals battle the Piedmont Classical Bobcats (Browns Summit, NC) in a Central Carolina - East contest, on Tuesday, September 27. College Prep & Leadership Academy will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Bobcats go into the contest with a 6-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Quality Education Academy (Winston-Salem, NC).

With the loss, Triad Math and Science Academy moves to 4-7 on the year. The Tigers host Bradford Academy (Mebane, NC) to battle the Archers in a non-league contest on Thursday, September 29. The Archers go into the contest with a record of 2-7.
