The Galatia Bearcats prevailed the visiting Pope County Pirates volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Monday's league test.
The Bearcats now have a 4-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Norris City-Omaha-Enfield for a Greater Egyptian test on Tuesday, September 27. Galatia will confront a Fighting Cardinals team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Grayville (Grayville, IL). The Fighting Cardinals record now stands at 18-0.
The Pirates (3-11) will now prepare for their test against Gallatin County (Junction, IL). The Hawks enter the Greater Egyptian test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Gallatin County dropped by Harrisburg (Harrisburg, IL), 2-1, in a non-league test.
