In Monday's non-league battle, the host Heritage Pioneers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Randolph-Henry Statesmen.

The Pioneers (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against Amherst County (Amherst, VA). The Lancers come into the Seminole battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Amherst County went down by Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Statesmen encounter the Nottoway Cougars (Nottoway, VA) in a James River battle, on Tuesday, September 27. Randolph-Henry will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Cougars come into the battle with a 10-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA).
