In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Lee Generals volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Rye Cove Eagles.

The Generals (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Union (Appalachia, VA). The Bears come into the Mountain 7 battle with a 19-1 record. In their last battle, Union achieved victory over Gate City (Gate City, VA), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Twin Springs Titans (Nickelsville, VA) in a Cumberland battle, on Tuesday, September 27. Rye Cove will attempt to advance on its 2-10 season record. The Titans come into the battle with a 5-6 record after their 3-1 league loss to Eastside (Coeburn, VA).
