North Carolina High School Volleyball - Montgomery Central can't hold off South Stanly

In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Montgomery Central Timberwolves.

The Rowdy Rebel Bulls (9-8) will now prepare for their battle against Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC). The Tigers come into the Yadkin Valley 1A/2A battle with a 8-8 record. In their last battle, Mount Pleasant was edged by Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Timberwolves clash with the Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC) in a Mid-Piedmont 3A battle, on Tuesday, September 27. Montgomery Central will attempt to advance on its 5-9 season record. The Blue Comets come into the battle with a 3-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Ledford (Thomasville, NC).
