In Monday's league battle, the visiting Newburyport Clippers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Pentucket Regional .

The Clippers (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Triton Regional (Byfield, MA). The Vikings come into the Cape Ann battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Triton Regional achieved victory over North Reading (North Reading, MA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the clash with the North Reading Hornets (North Reading, MA) in a Cape Ann battle, on Wednesday, September 28. Pentucket Regional will attempt to advance on its 0-7 season record. The Hornets come into the battle with a 2-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Triton Regional (Byfield, MA).
