The Pinole Valley Spartans volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Richmond Oilers to 0 in the Spartans league victory on Monday.

The Spartans now have a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kennedy for a Tri-County game on Wednesday, September 28. Pinole Valley will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Salesian College Preparatory (Richmond, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-9.

The Oilers (3-17) will now prepare for their game against Swett (Crockett, CA). The Warriors enter the Tri-County game with a 5-7 record. In their last game, Swett gained a win over Vallejo (Vallejo, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
