The Coal City Coalers held off the host Lisle Lions volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's league test.
The Coalers now have a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Peotone for a non-league test on Thursday, September 28.
The Lions (3-7) will now prepare for their test against Herscher (Herscher, IL). The Tigers enter the test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Herscher held off Streator (Streator, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
