Washington High School Soccer - Riverside knocks off Priest River

Riverside Rams (Chattaroy, WA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Priest River Spartans (Priest River, ID), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Rams face the Medical Lake Cardinals (Medical Lake, WA) in a 1A Northeast challenge, on Thursday, September 28. Riverside will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 9-1 league loss to Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls, WA).
The Spartans now have a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grangeville for a 3A District I challenge on Saturday, September 30. Priest River will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 11-0 league loss to Coeur d'Alene Charter Academy (Coeur d'Alene, ID). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-7.
