The Timberwolves (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against North Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Black Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 11-3 record. In their last challenge, North Davidson nipped Ledford (Thomasville, NC), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Blue Comets meet the Oak Grove Grizzlies (Winston-Salem, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 28. Asheboro will attempt to move on its 4-11 season record. The Grizzlies enter the challenge with a 17-0 record after their 2-0 league win over Central Davidson (Lexington, NC).
