The Burns Bulldogs volleyball team (Lawndale, NC), was nudged 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC)

The Rams (15-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Shelby (Shelby, NC). The Golden Lions enter the non-league challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Shelby was nudged by Cherryville (Cherryville, NC), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Cherryville Ironmen (Cherryville, NC) in a challenge, on Wednesday, September 27. Burns will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Ironmen enter the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 2-1 league win over Shelby (Shelby, NC).
