The Coal City Coalers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Lisle Lions to 0 in the Coalers league victory on Tuesday.

The Coalers now have a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Streator for a game on Tuesday, October 3. Coal City will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 league win over Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-9.

The Lions (3-8) will now prepare for their game against Herscher (Herscher, IL). The Tigers enter the game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Herscher dropped by Streator (Streator, IL), 2-0, in a league game.
