In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Cumberland County Panthers (Burkesville, KY), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Hornets battle the Clinton County Bulldogs (Albany, KY) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 28. Metcalfe County will attempt to better on its 10-11 season record.

With the loss, Cumberland County drops to 2-4 on the campaign.
