The Draughn Wildcats held off the visiting Owen Warhorses volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Wildcats now have a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Avery County for a non-league test on Thursday, September 28. Draughn will confront a Vikings team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Rosman (Rosman, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 8-6.

The Warhorses (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Mitchell (Bakersville, NC). The Mountaineers enter the non-league test with a 0-8 record.
