The Cavaliers now possess a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklin County for a non-league game on Thursday, September 28. Lord Botetourt will meet a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over William Byrd (Vinton, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-3.

The Colonels (0-9) will now prepare for their game against Staunton River (Moneta, VA). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league game with a 0-6 record. In their last game, Staunton River was dropped by Northside (Roanoke, VA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
