The Franklin County Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting William Byrd Terriers to 0 in the Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Eagles now have a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lord Botetourt for a non-league game on Thursday, September 28. Franklin County will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Fleming (Roanoke, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 8-2.

The Terriers (6-6) will now prepare for their game against Northside (Roanoke, VA). The Vikings enter the non-league game with a 4-6 record. In their last game, Northside gained a win over Staunton River (Moneta, VA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
