The Freeman Mavericks volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting J.R. Tucker Tigers to 0 in the Mavericks non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Mavericks now have a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hermitage for a non-league game on Thursday, September 28. Freeman will confront a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Maggie Walker (Richmond, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-6.

The Tigers (9-5) will now prepare for their game against Manchester (Midlothian, VA). The Lancers enter the non-league game with a 4-4 record.
