With the win, Giles upgrades its record to 10-2 on the year. The Spartans travel to Auburn (Riner, VA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 28. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Auburn won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Galax (Galax, VA)

The Blue Devils now own a 9-2 record. They play next when they host George Wythe for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 27. Grayson County will play a Maroons squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Auburn (Riner, VA). The Maroons record now stands at 7-1.
