The Nelson County Governors volleyball team (Lovingston, VA), went down 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Gretna Hawks (Gretna, VA)

The Hawks (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Chatham (Chatham, VA). The Cavaliers enter the non-league challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last challenge, Chatham went down by Dan River (Ringgold, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Governors encounter the Altavista Colonels (Altavista, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 28. Nelson County will attempt to move on its 3-8 season record.
