The Millbrook Wildcats held off the host Wakefield Wolverines volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Wildcats now have a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Knightdale for a non-league test on Thursday, September 28. Millbrook will confront a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Rolesville (Rolesville, NC). The Knights record now stands at 1-15.
The Wolverines (11-5) will now prepare for their game against Heritage (Wake Forest, NC). The Huskies enter the non-league game with a 11-3 record. In their last game, Heritage nipped Wake Forest (Wake Forest, NC), 2-1, in a non-league game.
