North Carolina High School Volleyball - North Stokes can't hold off Starmount

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Starmount Rams volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the North Stokes Vikings.
The Rams (11-3) will now prepare for their battle against Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC). The Granite Bears come into the non-league battle with a 0-13 record. In their last battle, Mount Airy was edged by South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Vikings encounter the Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 28. North Stokes will attempt to move on its 3-12 season record. The Trojans come into the battle with a 10-6 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to North Wilkes (Hays, NC).
