South Warren Spartans (Bowling Green, KY) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Daviess County Panthers (Owensboro, KY), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans confront the Greenwood Gators (Bowling Green, KY) in a District 14 challenge, on Monday, October 2. South Warren will attempt to move on its 13-3 season record. The Gators enter the challenge with a 10-10 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Ohio County (Hartford, KY).

The Panthers now possess a 16-4 record. They take the field next when they host Central Hardin for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 28. Daviess County will confront a Bruins team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Ryle (Union, KY). The Bruins record now stands at 11-3.
