In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting New Ulm Eagles soccer squad scored a close 6-3 triumph over the St. Peter Saints.
The Eagles now sport a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mankato East for a Class A Section 2 test on Thursday, September 28. New Ulm will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to New Prague (New Prague, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 7-5.
With the loss, St. Peter drops to 2-8 on the season. The Saints host Marshall (Marshall, MN) to meet the Tigers in a Class A Section 2 test on Saturday, September 30. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 7-4. Marshall lost 4-0 in their recent league test against Worthington (Worthington, MN)
