Eagle Valley Devils (Gypsum, CO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Cedaredge Bruins (Cedaredge, CO), 18-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Devils now sport a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they host Rifle for a 4A Western Slope challenge on Thursday, September 28. Eagle Valley will face a Bears squad coming off a 9-2 league win over Palisade (Palisade, CO). The Bears record now stands at 13-3.

With the loss, Cedaredge falls to 5-11 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Delta (Delta, CO) to face the Panthers in a 3A Western Slope challenge on Thursday, September 28. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 15-3. Delta won 45-0 in their recent league challenge against Aspen (Aspen, CO)
