The Fredericktown Black Cats softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Sikeston Bulldogs to 0 in the Black Cats league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Fredericktown improves its record to 15-5 on the year. The Black Cats host St. Pius X (Festus, MO) to clash with the Lancers in a non-league game on Wednesday, September 27. The Lancers come into the game with a record of 6-8. St. Pius X won 15-5 in their recent league game against Herculaneum (Herculaneum, MO)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Doniphan Dons (Doniphan, MO) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 29. Sikeston will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record.
