Virginia High School Volleyball - Floyd County routed by Alleghany

September 26, 2023: Covington, VA 24426

The Floyd County Buffaloes volleyball team (Floyd, VA), went down 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Alleghany Cougars (Covington, VA)

The Cougars (14-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Carroll County (Hillsville, VA). The Cavaliers enter the Three Rivers challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Carroll County went down by Radford (Radford, VA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Buffaloes encounter the James River Knights (Buchanan, VA) in a Three Rivers challenge, on Thursday, September 28. Floyd County will attempt to move on its 1-11 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 3-1 league loss to Glenvar (Salem, VA).
