Kansas High School Volleyball - Arkansas City can't hold off Salina Central

In Tuesday's league battle, the host Salina Central Mustangs volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Arkansas City Bulldogs.

The Mustangs (10-10) will now prepare for their battle against Manhattan (Manhattan, KS). The Indians come into the non-league battle with a 12-11 record. In their last battle, Manhattan nudged Hayden (Topeka, KS), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Bulldogs encounter the Goddard Lions (Goddard, KS) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 26. Arkansas City will attempt to advance on its 7-15 season record. The Lions come into the battle with a 1-16 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Hutchinson (Hutchinson, KS).
