North Carolina High School Volleyball - Ashley nudged by Laney

The Ashley Screaming Eagle volleyball team (Wilmington, NC), was nudged 3-2 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC)

The Buccaneers (10-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Hoggard (Wilmington, NC). The Vikings enter the Mideastern 3A/4A challenge with a 16-5 record. In their last challenge, Hoggard was nudged by D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Screaming Eagle encounter the New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A challenge, on Thursday, September 28. Ashley will attempt to move on its 6-9 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 3-1 league loss to South Brunswick (Southport, NC).
