Virginia High School Volleyball - Galax routed by Auburn

The Galax Maroon Tide volleyball team (Galax, VA), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA)

The Eagles (13-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Jefferson Christian Academy (Ripplemead, VA). The Cardinals enter the VISAA Virginia Christian - Southern challenge with a 9-1 record. In their last challenge, Jefferson Christian Academy defeated Varsity Opponent (, ), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Maroon Tide meet the Fort Chiswell Pioneers (Max Meadows, VA) in a Mountain Empire challenge, on Wednesday, September 27. Galax will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA).
