Texas High School Volleyball - Grape Creek can't hold off Ballinger

September 26, 2023: San Angelo, TX 76901

In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Ballinger Bearcats volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Grape Creek Eagles.

The Bearcats (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Jim Ned (Tuscola, TX). The Indians come into the 3A Region I District 6 battle with a 21-12 record. In their last battle, Jim Ned was edged by Clyde (Clyde, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Wall Hawks (Wall, TX) in a 3A Region I District 6 battle, on Saturday, September 30. Grape Creek will attempt to advance on its 4-16 season record. The Hawks come into the battle with a 15-8 record after their 3-0 league win over San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy (San Angelo, TX).
