Colorado High School Volleyball - Basalt Rifle

The Rifle Bears topped the host Basalt Longhorns volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Tuesday's league test.

The Bears now have a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coal Ridge for a 3A Western Slope test on Thursday, September 28. Rifle will confront a Titans team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Roaring Fork (Carbondale, CO). The Titans record now stands at 4-7.

The Longhorns (6-6) will now prepare for their test against North Fork (Hotchkiss, CO). The Miners enter the non-league test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, North Fork gained a win over Cedaredge (Cedaredge, CO), 3-2, in a league test.
