Maine High School Volleyball - Brewer nudged by Hampden

The Brewer Witches volleyball team (Brewer, ME), was nudged 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Hampden Broncos (Hampden, ME)

The Broncos (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Cony (Augusta, ME). The Rams enter the non-league challenge with a 2-8 record. In their last challenge, Cony was nudged by Messalonskee (Oakland, ME), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Witches encounter the Ellsworth Eagles (Ellsworth, ME) in a Class B challenge, on Thursday, September 28. Brewer will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Nokomis (Newport, ME).
