Kentucky High School Volleyball - Tates Creek tips Bryan Station

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Tates Creek Commodores (Lexington, KY) and the host Bryan Station Defenders (Lexington, KY), saw Tates Creek's volleyball squad nip Bryan Station by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Tates Creek upgrades its record to 14-12 on the year. The Commodores host Paul Laurence Dunbar (Lexington, KY) to play the Bulldogs in a District 43 bout on Thursday, September 28. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 24-5. Paul Laurence Dunbar won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Great Crossing (Georgetown, KY)

The Defenders now own a 17-14 record. They play next when they travel to Frederick Douglass for a District 42 bout on Thursday, September 28. Bryan Station will play a Broncos squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Scott County (Georgetown, KY). The Broncos record now stands at 14-13.
