The Minico Spartans volleyball team (Rupert, ID), was nudged 3-2 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Canyon Ridge Riverhawks (Twin Falls, ID)

The Riverhawks (11-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Wood River (Hailey, ID). The Wolverines enter the 4A Great Basin - West challenge with a 12-9 record. In their last challenge, Wood River nipped Burley (Burley, ID), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Spartans meet the Jerome Tigers (Jerome, ID) in a 4A Great Basin - West challenge, on Tuesday, October 3. Minico will attempt to move on its 7-10 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 1-10 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Gooding (Gooding, ID).
